We have found out that even Churches with web sites do not get the full benefits of their web sites. So many web sites die the day they are uploaded because they are not maintained, updated and promoted. Many ministries' web sites can't be found through any search engines.
We have lost counts of calls we receive daily from within and outside Nigeria, asking for the contacts or sermons or general information on some Nigerian Churches or pastors, even when the Churches claim to have web sites. Indeed, the Nigerian Church has not achieved much excellence on the internet.
Some of us would not sit idly by and watch the status quo remain. We desire to create an enabling environment for the Church to grow by creating this information infrastructure.
This website will put all Christian bodies in Nigeria on this online directory, which will serve as a one-stop web-shop where all of them could be found and networked with. This service shall be done free. www.nigerianchurchdirectory.com is a networking environment where online visitors could link up with you and your web site.
